THE ART IN NATURE
Join us for this special event celebrating World Environment Day, as we share behind-the-scenes tour and talks, and explore the fascinating art and science of the Floras of Gondwanan Heritage exhibition. Watch exhibition highlights VIDEO.
Art and science
Exhibiting artist, Renata Buziak, will be joined by Paleobotanist Dr Ray Carpenter, as they share their journey researching and developing the stunning artworks in this exhibition that sit at the nexus of art and science, called Biochromes.
Artist-in-Residence
We will also hear from Dr Karleen Gwinner from Binna Burra Foundation Board about their Artist-in-residency program.
In 2022, Renata was the first artist-in-residence at Binna Burra Lodge, creating her signature biochrome images of the Cultural Landscape, in the legacy of prominent Queensland artist, Vida Lahey (1882-1968).
Following the tour and talks, enjoy morning tea and the opportunity to connect with fellow creatives and share ideas.
For art and nature lovers, this is an event not to be missed!
Free event. Please register.
