  • All Materials Provided: cyanotype supplies to create a print on paper, and on fabric, plant samples, and objects for compositions. Bring your own small objects for a personal touch.
  • Step-by-step demonstration by Renata: from mixing and applying the light-sensitive solution to various coating techniques, composition, exposure, fixing, and exploring alternative uses of cyanotype.
  • Brief Cyanotype History: In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, delve into the historical significance of the camera-less cyanotype process.

About Renata: 

Renata Buziak is a biochrome photo-media artist, researcher, and educator. With a focus on plant life and helping people to reconnect with nature, her captivating artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally.

Renata holds a PhD from Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Her art has received several awards and is featured in private and public collections, as well as on ABC TV’s Gardening Australia.

In 2022, Renata was the first Artist-in-Residence at Binna Burra in Queensland. Her exceptional talent and dedication to capturing the beauty of nature continue to inspire audiences worldwide.
