My biochromes in Gift Wrapped
I am thrilled to present some of my recent, and not so recent, biochrome artworks, scarves, cards and publications at this exhibition, including:
- several images from my art residency at Binna Burra, of Gondwanan lineage plants, such as the one featured above, of Mountain Banksia (Banksia integrifolia), and a couple of scarves. You can see more images from this series here: Gondwanan Biochromes
- a couple of works from the Habitat: Artworks & Stories of Pine Rivers Gardens, a collaborative project that includes conversations with garden owners; my biochrome images; and photographs by Lynette Letic (now Lynette Spry). We explored questions about gardening such as: why do people have gardens, and why do they plant and grow specific selection of plants, or let the garden go wild? Plants that I used to make these works come from those gardens. You can find out more about the project on our blog: Pine Rivers Gardens
Join us at the opening or veiw the exhibition at your leasure. If you can’t make it to Beaudeset feel free to contact me more details of artworks avaiable for gifts.
