I’m so excited to share this beautiful and so accessible process with you – just 2 days after the World Cyanotype Day! It’s still not to late to join in the celebrations – until 3 Oct.
In this hands on workshop create your own unique artwork and gain skills to continue exploring this captivating art form at home.
Explore the historical photographic process using plants, found objects, and sunlight. Keep your unique prints as cherished artwork or as gifts to someone special.
In this 3-hour workshop, you will:
- Create your own stunning cyanotype prints on cotton and paper.
- Learn some history of the process, coating, developing and fixing techniques in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Acquire the skills to continue experimenting with cyanotype at home.
All materials provided:
cyanotype supplies, paper, fabric, plant cuttings, found objects. Bring your own small objects for a personal touch.

About Renata:
Dr Renata Buziak is a biochrome photo-media artist, researcher, and educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. Renata regularly facilitates cyanotype and other workshops at schools, galleries and other venues, for children and adults.
With a focus on plant life and helping people to reconnect with nature, her biochrome artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally.
Renata holds a PhD from Queensland College of Art, Griffith University. Her art has received several awards and is featured in private and public collections, and on ABC TV’s Gardening Australia (link on homepage).
