Discover the World of Cyanotype Printing in the inspirational and renowned Phoenix Sculpture Garden

In this hands-on workshop you will create your own unique photographic print without a camera – using plants, found objects, and sunlight, and you will gain skills to continue experimenting with this captivating art form at home.

Immerse yourself in the creative process, and the beauty of the enchanted garden with unique sculptures by Graham Radcliffe, as Renata guides you through the entire cyanotype process, from preparing the materials to developing your very own unique cyanotype prints.

No experience or artistic skills needed.

Keep your unique prints as cherished artworks or as gifts to someone special.

In this workshop you will:

  • Create your own stunning cyanotype prints on cotton and paper.
  • Learn some history of the process, coating, developing and fixing techniques in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Acquire the skills to continue experimenting with cyanotype at home.

All materials provided: cyanotype supplies, paper, fabric, plant cuttings, found objects. Bring your own small objects for a personal touch.

Previous workshop participant’s experience:

My first cyanotype workshop with Renata was fantastic. I enjoyed every part of it.
The 3-hour workshop covered: information about the host, nicely blended with the nature of the cyanotype technique. The group was small enough to allow everyone to interact with one another during the workshop.

Renata explained every step of cyanotype including the history of the technique. Everything was delivered clearly. She also showed the before and after effects, which was encouraging.
