Artist-In-Residence

I am delighted to announce that in 2022 I will be working on a new project as the Binna Burra Artist-in-Residence.

Binna Burra is a beautiful destination surrounded by Lamington National Park. Rainforest walks, waterfalls, spectacular views and widelife are what you’ll find in this natural environemnt.

The ‘Artist-in-Residence on the Binna Burra Cultural Landscape’ honours the legacy of the eminent Queensland artist, Vida Lahey (1882-1968), painter and sister of Romeo Lahey, the co-founder of the National Parks Association of Queensland and Binna Burra Lodge.

Art. Nature. Science. Program

From the early 20th Century art and science flourished at Binna Burra. For many years the mountain attracted artists, scientists, nature lovers, educators and families who got their hands dirty, worked hard and enjoyed creative activities in this spectacular place.

During my Residency I will also help to restore and creat new program that we all will be able to enjoy at Binna Burra again, by bringing in art & science creatives to reactive this inspirational place.
