Reflections on the AiR experience on Binna Burra Cultural Landscape
It has been my honour to be the first Arist-in-Residence at Binna Burra, in the legacy of a prominent artist Vida Lahey.
As the residency draws to an end I will reflect on the time spent at Binna Burra for most of 2022, and present a selection of works from my new series Gondwanan Biochromes. I exhibited a selection of works from this series at the Pottery Shed in December 2022. The exhibition included works on paper, textiles and video.
The exhibition was launched on 4 December 2022 together with the Art. Nature. Science. at Binna Burra book and podcast.
Gondwanan Biochromes exhibition catalogue
My final artist talk provides a great opportunity to launch the Gondwanan Biochromes catalogue of my recent exhibition.
The catalogue includes an introduction by Steve Noakes, Binna Burra Lodge Chairperson, an essay by Dr Jayne Fenton Keane, and a poem by Vicki Kelleher.
