For this event I am creating a cyanotype mural on cotton: The Piano Mill Ecosystem, which will be revealed on the event day.

The Award-winning work “Harrigans Lane Horizon” that I created during my artistic residency at the Piano Mill received the 2D Print Media Art Prize at the Stanthorpe Art Prize.

“Easter at the Piano Mill is a sonic treasure hunt combining music, architecture, art and environment. This unique experience invites listeners to wander through the property, among various concert stages and venues, choosing their own listening adventure. The event culminates in a performance of the sixteen-piano-powered Piano Mill.
Join us for the fifth anniversary of the Piano Mill – Bruce and Jocelyn Wolfe’s fantastical tower of 16 pianos in the forest, this year in partnership with Tenterfield Autumn Festival! “
Presented by the Harrigans Lane Collective:
- The Boundary Riders – trombone, flutes, bass, saxophone, percussion, and movement performances created by Jan Baker-Finch, Jodie Rottle, Caleb Colledge, Hannah Reardon-Smith, Brodie Macallister, Vanessa Tomlinson, Helen Svoboda, Andrew Saragossi & more.
- Solo piano performances by 16 Australian superstars in the breathtaking mini-concert hall Lagavulin
- Art installations and historical memories in Limeburners featuring work by Greg Harm and Renata Buziak
- An all-star line-up of pianists performing solo and in the Piano Mill. The second-ever complete performance of Erik Griswold’s All’s grist that comes to the mill, the piece that launched the building!
